FAQ

1. Do I have to pump Diesel for the vehicle: No Go Outdoors caravans are permanently located at our Static Caravan parks in Nuwara Eliya and Wilpattu.
2. How many people can sleep inside a caravan: We have models that can accommodate 4 to 6 pax. Please consider children when making a booking.
3. There are only 2 of us? : We entertain bookings for 2 pax as well.
4. What facilities are available in a caravan: All caravans have a fridge and freezer, 3 burner gas cooker, toilet with hot and cold water, and are air conditioned / centrally heated. We also provide linen, toiletries, crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils. We also provide a camping table with a chairs according to the number of occupants. Please note that some models have no internal shower and external toilets are available in these instances at both our caravan parks
5. Do you clean the caravans?: Yes, this can be done on request as it your own private space and staff will not enter unless asked.
6. Are the caravans child safe: Perfectly. Caravans are made to UK/Euro Standards and therefore comes with safety standards of that region.
7. What other facilities are available at the Caravan Parks: We have a common rest and dining area at our Wilpattu Park and a BBQ machine which you are free to use. In Nuwara Eliya we have fire pits and BBQ machines for guest use on request

FAQ

1. Do I have to drive it by my self: Go Outdoors provides a driver for your convenience.
2. Do I have to pump Diesel for the vehicle: We give you a full tank of fuel and you only need to ‘top-up’ on actual usage.
3. Is there a limit on travel distance per day: You are allowed 300 kilometers
4. How much should I pay additional for extra millage if any : Rs. 70/-
5. Does the driver stay in the motorhome: No. He will arrange his own accommodation if your stay at any of our designated motorhomes parks.
6. Can I travel on any terrain: Any ‘A’ and ‘B’ category roads and most gravel roads are fine for our vehicle’s.
7. Where can we park: We operate 9 parks around the country and have plans to expand this list. The locations have designated areas for parking motorhomes with the required electrical water connections. You will also find restaurants at most of the locations if you don’t want the hassle of preparing your own meals. These parks also offer you the security and privacy you would expect.
8. Do I have to stay at Go Outdoors designated locations: Not at all. However you need to consider the following: you would require electricity to run your air conditioning and a source for fresh water. A regular flushable toilet would suffice for the disposal of your chemical toilet waste. Another would be privacy and security. We request your assistance for the driver to find his accommodation.
9. Can I go to an absolute remote location: Certainly, any approval needed must be obtained by you. We have handled these type of journeys already.
10. When I rent a Motorhome for 1 night what time should I return it ? : We offer Motor Homes for a period of 24 hours. We will be flexible for an additional 6 hours and thereafter we charge Rs. 4,000 for every hour.
11. How many people travel and sleep inside a Motor Home: Motorhomes can accommodate 1-5 pax maximum depending on the model.
12. What facilities are available in a motorhome: Our Motorhomes have a fridge and freezer, 3 burner gas cooker, fully functional toilet with hot and cold water, and are air conditioned / centrally heated. We also provide linen, toiletries, crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils including a toaster and kettle. We also provide a camping table with a chairs according to the number of occupants.
13. Do you clean the motorhome: As it is your private space our driver will not come in unless requested. Motorhomes users usually like to do their own sweeping, so each motorhome will have a broom and brush with dustpan
14. What is the total water capacity the vehicle can carry: Depending on the model a Motor Home can carry from 90 – 110 liters of water for a journey.
15. How can I dispose the Toilet dump: You need not to worry about it. The driver will handle it for you. This is all accessed externally.
16. Is it child safe: Perfectly. Motor Homes are made to UK/Euro Standards and therefore comes with safety standards of that region.
17. Can we take it to Adams Peak or Madu Church: Most welcome to do so. Only concern will be that you need to find a power connection unless you decide to sleep with windows open and with the mosquito mesh on which is built in to the vehicle.
